We specialize in Unique and Original twists on classic diner food. Menus favorites include our deep fried French toast, topped with fresh seasonal fruit or paired with our chicken fried chicken, Spam and eggs over cilantro lime rice with mango salsa and a large variety of fluffy omelets served with locally baked breads and homemade jam.
For lunch we serve 100% angus beef on locally baked brioche buns, Caribbean rice bowls, street tacos and our famous fried bologna sandwich with cheddar cheese and carmelized onions on grilled garlic toast. Fresh squeezed (in front of you) orange juice, locally roasted 100% Costa Rican coffee and yummy milk shakes round out a great meal.
A Little History
Prior to opening the Original Breakfast House, owner John Stidham owned and operated a dozen restaurants in Northern California (over 35 years). Retiring to Phoenix in 2011, he soon discovered he missed his lifes work, so sought out this closed up restaurant in front of the Rock at 32nd street, a recently rejuvenated shopping center in North Phoenix.
After completely remodeling the premises he ended up with a modern, 70’s motif, hip breakfast joint that serves up intense flavors in the form of unique twists on American comfort food.
